Common FAQs

  • SLO County Airport (SBP) is about a 30-minute drive from Willow and Oak Estate. The airport also has connecting flights with San Francisco (SFO) and Los Angeles (LAX). 

    We are located midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, about a 4-hour drive each way. Some visitors to the Central Coast prefer to drive the scenic Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy the sights and activities along the way. 

  • You, or your guests, can make advance arrangements with local limo services for hotel pick up and return after the wedding. 

    We also have ample parking for your guests who choose to drive themselves. 

    Uber and Lyft services are also available.

Our partnership wedding rental company, the award-winning All About Events, is a premier provider of wedding and event consulting and full-service rentals on the Central Coast. We have been a part of exciting weddings and events of all sizes and enjoyed every minute.

    Officially opening our family-owned Willow and Oak Estate as a wedding venue was the next logical step in expanding our wedding services and continuing the Willow and Oak story of love and romance. We opened as a destination wedding venue in 2021 and were awarded Best Outdoor Venue in SLO County in 2023 by California Wedding Day. 

    We are committed to continuing the family’s romantic legacy, where forever starts. 

    The Willow and Oak story began in the 1980s when a single mom and a self-proclaimed bachelor accidentally fell in love and then set about creating this estate that became the site for family weddings. When the newlywed Palmers decided to build their home and life here among the oaks, they had no idea they would be creating a legacy that led to the estate’s extraordinary wedding venue.

    In 2005, their oldest daughter married her high school sweetheart on the estate, followed a few years later by the youngest daughter’s wedding. In 2018 the Palmers renewed their marriage vows with a formal celebration, officiated by their youngest daughter, with their grandbabies in attendance.
