Located in Creston, in the heart of Paso Robles wine country our 65-acre estate features gardens, an orchard, spectacular views, and outdoor and indoor settings, including romantic pondside locations, and weekend accommodations. We go above and beyond, from the initial meeting to the final breakdown, to ensure you and your guests feel like family.  We work closely with catering companies, wedding planners, and other wedding professionals to ensure your wedding is romantic and memorable. Our goal is to be a full-service San Luis Obispo County wedding venue.

Where Forever Starts

The Willow and Oak story began in the 1980s when a single mom and a self-proclaimed bachelor accidentally fell in love.  The newly married Palmers set their forever plans in motion by choosing to build their home and life here among the oaks, creating a legacy that led to today’s San Luis Obispo County wedding venue.

Their oldest daughter and her high school sweetheart exchanged their first wedding vows on the estate in 2005. A few years later, the youngest Palmer daughter said “I Do” to her very own self-proclaimed bachelor. After 30 years of marriage, the Palmers renewed their marriage vows with a formal celebration, officiated by their youngest daughter, with their grandbabies in attendance.  

Willow and Oak officially opened as a destination wedding venue in 2021 and was awarded Best Outdoor Venue in SLO County in 2023 by California Wedding Day. We are committed to continuing a romantic legacy, where forever starts.

Our unique amenities eliminate so much of the stress and worries leading into the last few days before the wedding. No worries about confirming the limo ride from the lodgings to the venue. No worries about any of the wedding party being delayed. No worries about having enough time for everything to be perfect. 

  • Arrive the day before, unpack and relax. Take a stroll around the estate, sip wine by the pond, or do some fishing. Have a good night’s sleep and enjoy the sunrise. 

  • Our overnight accommodations host up to 22 members of your bridal party. We can recommend nearby lodging for additional guests. We encourage you to host wedding party gatherings throughout the weekend. 

  • Our Willow and Oak staff and All About Events set-up crew make sure every last detail is in place and ready, right down to the silverware on the table and catering and serving needs.

  • Exclusive access to the property and relaxing accommodations for you and your guests give you plenty of time to savor the entire weekend without feeling rushed.

  • We can recommend excellent hotels and restaurants located within a short drive of the estate. We can also recommend limousine services for transportation. 

    The San Luis Obispo Airport is about 40 minutes away and has connecting flights to San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

    Uber and Lyft services are also available and we have spacious parking for those who arrive in their own vehicles.
